Hello yall!
For the end-of-semester assignment in the course "Around the World in Music and Food", I made an anonymous survey about lexical-gustatory synesthesia, occurrence in non-synesthetes, and the possible differences in experiences between synesthetes to non-synesthetes.
While completing the survey you will need to listen to three different songs that are given to you, eat bland (and cooked) white rice, and answer questions about your experiences. In addition to that, you will have demographic-placing questions at the start of the survey. None of the questions are required of you, and you are free to skip questions, stop and exit the survey at any point.
This is not a survey made for scientific research, the results will not be used to conduct any scientific research, will not be forwarded or published to or by any group, organization, journal, publisher, etc. The only people seeing it are me, you (person filling in the survey), and my poor lecturer who needs to grade the paper this is made for.

Okay, I know, today’s entry is very much a ‘calm before the storm’ setup. All is looking a little too well, including Lucy. That being said?
Lucy and Art use the same ‘ears tingling’ phrase. Meaning one of them learned it from the other and adopted it for keeps. Considering Lucy mentions in previous letters with Mina that she’s picked up slang before from him, my guess is she collected this term too. It’s nothing huge, just hugely human–we always pickpocket our friends and loved ones’ vocabulary, and seeing it here just adds an extra twist of the knife in my chest.

We have decided that non-sexual nudity will be allowed. Trans bodies, we both think, are very important to show in art and writing, whether that is a fanfiction or through poetry or an experimental art piece or whatever. There are a few things to note:
A) You need to make sure your content has applicable content warnings still. If there is nudity in your art, make sure you have it tagged as such.
B) The mods are still children. If we deem it too sexual, then your submission will not be reblogged or shared on Revy's story, but your submission, of course, will still be allowed to be in the tag.
That's all! Just be mindful of what you are creating.
2. PLEASE please make sure to properly tag your works for potential triggers and add applicable warnings!
3. this should go without saying, but romantic remrom is NOT going to be included here. that’s fucking disgusting. end of discussion. platonic/familial creativitwins is more than welcome!!
This is not a rule, but a suggestion! If you are creating any visual art, like drawings, edits, a cosplay, etc, please write an image description (and/or a transcript)! We are not requiring image descriptions, mainly because Mod Revy will probably just end up going around and transcribing your work for you, but it would be very helpful and very awesome if you applied IDs to your art. More links will be added, but here are some starting posts and websites to help you learn how to write IDs. (1) (2) (3) (4)
Mod Revy is someone who occassionally needs IDs (primarily transcripts and captions for videos), so it would be incredible if you took the time to teach yourself how to write them. Not only to make this event accessible for gen, but for other disabled fanders who are trying to enjoy it as well. If you need help please do not hesitate to send a DM or ask to Revy (@transfemlogan), lo will be glad to help you with it!
